Housekeeping Rules

SUN CANOPY

We would kindly ask clients to pull back the sun canopy when the wind is blowing.  As this property is beach front, the wind can cause considerable damage so clients are requested not to leave items out on the balcony, which may be of a delicate nature during windy conditions.

WINDOWS

When leaving the apartment, please ensure all windows are closed.  Small crime is quite high in Spain so clients are requested to ensure that the apartment is kept secure at all times.

HEATING

When leaving the apartment, we would kindly ask that the heating be switched off.  Please bear in mind that this is a hot air system and excessive use can have an adverse health effect.  Also leaving any electrical item running can increase the risk of fire without the appropriate supervision.

AIR CONDITIONING

Once again, we would kindly ask clients to turn off air-conditioning when leaving the apartment.  Excessive use of air-conditioning can also have an adverse health effect.  It is advisable not to leave air-conditioning on while sleeping.  Once again, clients are made aware of the risk factor of leaving any electrical item running without the appropriate supervision.

WATER SYSTEM – (ON MAIN BALCONY)

We would ask that client not to touch the watering system as this has been programmed to automatically water the plants.

T.V. – MASTER BEDROOM

To use the TV in the Master Bedroom, please select channel AV1 on the TV and then use the sky controller.    Both the lounge TV and the Master Bedroom TV operate in parallel.

SAFE – MASTER BEDROOM

There is a safe in the wardrobe of the Master Bedroom.  Please ask LO Property Management for the combination number.  Items of a valuable nature are to be kept in the safe at all times.

Please bear in mind that Marbella Rentals Direct do not accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen during a clients stay.

SMELLS

As with any hot country, there is a high risk of smells in the apartment.  We would ask clients to ensure that the appropriate measures are taken to ensure that rubbish and food waster is removed immediately from the apartment to help minimize this risk.

KITCHEN

When using the cooker in the kitchen, please ensure that you turn on the extractor fan.  Failure to turn this extractor fan can cause the smoke alarm to activate.

BABIES HIGH CHAIR & COTH

In the interest of safety hygiene, we would ask that all clients ensure that these items are kept clean at all times.  Failure to comply with this request, may result in an extra charge for cleaning of same.

MANAGEMENT CALL-OUTS

At Marbella Rentals Direct, our aim is to ensure that the client has an enjoyable holiday.  LO Property is on hand should the client experience any problems during their stay.  Should a problem be reported, LO Property Management will take the necessary action to try and rectify this problem.  However we would ask clients to bear in mind that there is a cost factor involved in every management call-out.  Should the problem not be of a series nature but upon the clients request, a management call is required, Marbella Rentals Direct will have the right to pass on this charge of €25.00 to the client.

APARTMENT KEYS

Apartment keys are the sole responsibility of the client.  Should the client loose or misplace same, this should be reported immediately to LO Property.  In this case, the client will incur a charge for replacing same.

On the day of departure, the keys must be given back directly to LO Property and not to a third party.
